Overview
Devon Energy Corporate Headquarters (Devon Tower) is the iconic symbol of downtown Oklahoma City. With its 50‑story structure, Devon Tower hosts multiple food service outlets. The largest food service component, the marketplace dining area, officially known as NEBU is open to the general public and Devon employees and offers a variety of health-focused menu items. There is an upscale coffee shop in the grand lobby, education support facilities on the 2nd floor, and a full‑service restaurant, Vast, on the 50th floor also open to the public and Devon employees.
Both restaurants will be open to the public as part of Devon Executive Chairman Larry Nichols’ desire to maintain ties to the community and make the headquarters welcoming to visitors.
“The idea developed over time,”
Nichols said. “We thought on and off as to whether we wanted a restaurant or office space up on the top floors. We originally thought about doing a private club. But we realized there was such interest in the community to see the view from up there, we thought it appropriate to have a restaurant and bar where all people could enjoy and take advantage of it.”
